Business Analyst are responsible for gathering the requirement and preparing the usecase document.They are also responsible for proper communication within the team starting from satkeholders, product manager developers who so ever are directly related with project,means they have to put everybody in communication channel like what is happening in the project,also, for conducting JAD session.Now every organisation have started following agile methadology so BA'S have participate in day to day meeting(daily scrum calls)as well.Role of business analyst depends upon the organisation to organisation sometime they have to participate in various activity like rootcause analysis, problem solving as well. BA role have very vast responsibilities starting from reguirement gathing till documenting.
